Bringing the Rosewood to Scotland

Rosewood is one of the world’s great hotel brands.  It offers a cultured and localised vision bringing a new dimension to Edinburgh and Scotland’s hospitality provision combining best-in-class bars and restaurants as well as gallery, event and performance spaces.

The Rosewood Hotel will become an accessible destination which will improve the amenity of the Calton Hill area of Edinburgh and act as a landmark focal point for visitors and local residents.  It will significantly reinforce the welcome current regeneration of the eastern side of Edinburgh’s city centre – including the St James Quarter, Waverley Station and the New Waverley development in the Old Town.

As well as providing the highest levels of hospitality, food and drink, the Rosewood also has an established track record in providing open and accessible public spaces showcasing the best in art, music and artisan food and drink.

As recently as August 2018, the Rosewood has won several major international award achievements, with Rosewood London ranked as the 8th best hotel within the Top 100 Hoteliers’ Hotels, and one of the top 10 London City Hotels in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards. The hotel’s Sense spa was also titled the 2018 Luxury Historical Hotel Spa Regional Winner in Northern Europe.

At the heart of the Rosewood culture is a focus on employees – including best-in-class training and support, two-hours of on-and-off off job training per week, and a stated commitment to no zero-hour contracts.
